Cybersecurity group at KLA is involved in every aspect of the
global business. The KLA Cybersecurity group defends against
cyber-attacks and provides cybersecurity tools, incident response
services and assessment capabilities to safeguard the environments
that support the essential operations of KLA. We are passionate
about identifying adversarial activities and anticipating a wide
variety of threats to strengthen our defenses and the overall
protection of KLA Intellectual Property.We are in search of a
Senior Cybersecurity Architect to help ensure new technology
initiatives meet Cybersecurity requirements. This individual will
help create, build, monitor, and maintain KLA's infrastructure
across cloud and on-premises solutions. As a senior member of the
Cyber Architecture and Engineering team, and serve as a source of
expertise for groups across the Cyber org.What You Will Be
Doing
- Design security systems by taking a comprehensive view of all
technology aspects of new projects ensuring systems meet industry
standards and KLA Cyber requirements
- Develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area
networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers,
firewalls, and related devices
- Influencing technology decisions company wide by serving as a
domain expert and clearly communication standards and requirements
to a broad audience
- Build partnerships across the company to help promote a
security forward culture
- Deliver presentations providing updates, recommendations, and
strategic opportunities to broad audiences
- Stay updated on trends and advances in IT and Cybersecurity
solutions to ensure recommendations are strategic and allowing the
business to continue to advanceDesired Qualifications:
- Pursuit or completion of security related certification (CISSP,
ISSAP, GCED, or similar)
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to changes quickly and handle
heavy ticket volumes
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced
environment
- Familiarity with various network and host-based security
applications and tools, such as assessment/scanning tools,
intrusion detection systems, and other security software
packages
- Knowledge of vulnerability information dissemination sources
(e.g., alerts, advisories, errata, and bulletins)
- Knowledge of the NIST CSF, ISO 27001, & CIS Top 20.
- Understanding of confidentiality, integrity, and availability
principles
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities and
mitigation
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access control
methods
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they
relate to cybersecurity and privacyMinimum Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of
study, in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, IT Security,
Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
- Minimum five years of designing and/or building
IT/Cybersecurity solutions in a complex environment
- Technical infrastructure (full tech stack), network, and
operating system knowledge
- Demonstrable ability to create sophisticated security
plans
- Superb communication and influencing skills including the
ability to simplify key messages, build compelling presentations,
promote technical and personal credibility, and effectively message
with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience identifying security gaps, communicating risk,
planning mitigations, and recommending improvementsBase Pay Range:
$88,900.00 - $151,100.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-MI-Ann
